We have one of the actual books, and we love the different textures on each page. The book that accompanies the puzzles in this box doesn't have the textures - only the puzzle pieces! The puzzles are 2 pieces, 3 pieces and 4 pieces, and while neat, they are free-standing - no tray/holder to put the pieces into. I shouldn't have bought this for my 1 year old nephew, he's not ready for that abstract of puzzling.

The book is not touch and feel.

Bought this for my one year old. He already has Never touch a dragon book and loves it as it’s the touch and feel style of book. Assuming the same for this set I was disappointed to find the book is not the touch and feel type. The puzzles are great though.
